Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The main problems come from people who are afraid of the future, who do not believe that consumption habits have changed in such a way, that viewers want to see what they want when they want and where they want.

The big corporate companies tend to walk like elephants and technology and the future take giant steps, so you have to put a lot of pressure on the top managers to make things happen and be able to evolve as the world evolves.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about TCS Digital – what should we know?
Since I was 12 years old I started working in Television being a host of a great variety of programs. I realized that the business was behind and not in front of the camera.

I also realized that technology was a fundamental part of television and that if as an executive producer I understand technology and the future of television very well, I would have a much broader vision.

That’s how my passion for technology began, a world full of possibilities to apply in television production.

And since then I have been invited by national universities, as well as in international events and media. This year, It will be the second to serve as a jury in the Produ Awards that are presented at the most important event for media and broadcast manufacturers, the Nab Show in Las Vegas. I have also been invited by NexTV CEO in Miami as a panelist to talk about the future of television, an event attended by all the CEOs of the major media in Latin America.

The mix between content production and technology has led me to lead large projects such as “Top Chef El Salvador”, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” or “Deal or No Deal”. I am part of the executive committee that decides and advises the technology investments in our company.

And in the end, it was clear that this mix would lead me to lead the future of television in the country, creating the division that will change the balance in the very near future.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
There are many of course. Among them, are my parents that with their help and perseverance I am the “Raul Dominguez” of now. I still remember when I was only 9 years old and they gave me my first handcorder on tape.

Likewise, during all these years I have harvested many mentors, friends and companies that have helped me to take our company to the future.

One of them, and based in Miami, is the magnificent team of Gio and Antonio, Stream Media. A company that has known how to understand its customers, developing technologies that make it very easy to bring content to users.
