Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Stephanie Pedrayes of South Miami

We recently had the chance to connect with Stephanie Pedrayes and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Stephanie, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Motherhood has been my greatest joy. Being a mom has brought an entirely new depth to my life, it’s grounding, humbling, and has given me a stronger sense of purpose both personally and professionally. My family keeps me inspired and balanced, and the love I pour into them fuels the passion I bring to my work every day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a certified CRNA, licensed APRN and aesthetic injector and the founder of Regen Aesthetics & Wellness, a boutique practice where science, beauty, and wellness meet. Regen was built on the belief that aesthetic treatments should never feel transactional, they should feel personal, elevated, and rooted in trust. My approach is clinical, natural-looking, and highly individualized. Whether it’s injectables, regenerative skin therapies, or wellness services like annual lab work, IV therapy and medical weight loss, everything we offer is designed to help patients look and feel like the most confident version of themselves.

This business has been a dream turned reality, and I’m so proud to serve our South Florida community with intention, education, and results-driven care.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
For a long time, I was the ‘yes’ girl. Always available, always showing up for everyone and everything, often at the expense of myself. I found a sense of worth in being needed, and I carried that role with pride. But as I grew, in my marriage, my career, into motherhood, and as a business owner, I began to realize that constantly giving without boundaries was costing me my peace, my joy, and even my authenticity.

What I’ve released is the belief that I owe everyone all of me, all the time. I’ve learned that it’s not selfish to protect my energy, it’s necessary. I now choose to pour into the people and passions that genuinely bring me joy. I’ve found power in saying ‘no’ with love and intention, and freedom in showing up fully only where I truly want to be. That version of me, the one who constantly put herself last, has served her purpose. She helped me build relationships and resilience, but she no longer defines me.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me what success never could. It taught me that with God’s grace, I am capable of surviving and thriving through anything. At just 26, right when life felt like it was falling perfectly into place, in the middle of grad school, getting engaged, planning a wedding, everything was shaken by a diagnosis of kidney failure and the journey to a kidney transplant. It was a life-altering experience that brought everything in that moment to a halt.

But in that stillness, I discovered a deeper strength. I learned that detours don’t mean denial. That pain doesn’t cancel purpose. Circumstances may slow us down, shake our confidence, and make us question the path we’re on, but what is meant for you, what God has ordained for you, will always find its way. Success may build you, but suffering reveals you and it revealed in me a faith and fire that I hadn’t yet discovered.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. I’ve always made it a priority to stay authentic to who I am. In the aesthetics and wellness industry, it’s easy to get swayed by trends or feel pressured to present a version of yourself that aligns with what’s popular or expected. But I’ve learned that real connection and trust come from consistency and integrity. I pride myself on staying true to my style, my beliefs, and the way I approach my patient care is always clinical, intentional and grounded in what’s right for each individual, not just what’s trending. What you see is what you get, always.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What will you regret not doing?
I would regret not giving my business everything I have. Right now, I’m still in the thick of building it, profits are slim, and I’m juggling the demands of a steady income job while running this practice on my own. There are moments where I wonder if it would be easier to walk away, to go back to something more predictable. But then I remember that quitting would completely go against the purpose that sparked this in the first place.

I didn’t start this just for myself. I started it for my family, my kids, for our future. I envisioned a life with more time, more presence, more flexibility. I wanted to create something meaningful, both personally and professionally. A space where patients feel truly seen and cared for, not just for their appearance, but for their whole wellness, their confidence, their health. So while the grind is hard and the path isn’t always clear, I know I’d carry deep regret if I didn’t see this through. Because this is more than just a business to me, I believe it is part of my purpose.
