Neptunes started as I was looking for more fashionable swimwear for my daughters when they were 3, 4 yrs. old and could not find nice swimwear for them. Started researching online and found that the designer brands that adults buy, also cater kids but not too much publicity on them. That’s how Neptunes was born, to be able to cater designer swimwear for kids as well as adults. Afterwards, we added some designer clothing as well
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Like every other small business, the beginning was a struggle but with the support of my husband and my parents we have gone a long road
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Neptunes Boutique – what should we know?
We sell designer swimwear and clothing for women and kids. We are known for our swimwear and to carry clothing that you don’t see in every store. We try to be as unique as possible. We carry brands that stand by their product. I love the swimwear for kids, I think they are so cute and colorful and although my girls are growing I love to see the smiles of the kids that come to the store and get all happy picking the bikinis they like. I think that we have a very big selection of swimwear and unique clothing pieces that make us stand up.
How do you, personally, define success? What’s your criteria, the markers you’re looking out for, etc?
Success, when our customers leave the store happy, with a smile, we have succeeded. Besides our collections, we try our best to give the best customer service as possible. We want our customers to be happy with our service and our merchandise.
