Today we’d like to introduce you to Candice Drake.
Hi Candice, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve now been a massage therapist and Esthitician for well over two decades. In 2019 I attended a Tony Robbins UPW while immersing myself on a personal growth mission and becoming a life coach i made the decision to open something special.. a spa where clients could come and feel heard and seen as well as cared for. Our team of amazing woman create an exceptional experience for our clients daily. My passion for healing evolved later into certified sound healing and my becoming a breath work practitioner as well.
As a Massage Therapist and stretch practitioner, I’ve dedicated years to the health and wellbeing of my clients physical state. Becoming a certified Life and Energy Coach in 2019, allowed me to empower individuals to enhance the overall quality of their emotional lives as well. I connect with their energy through the healing power of sound, where a rewiring of your nervous system takes place. As a breath work practitioner I am able to facilitate the release of past and present emotions in a safe and loving space while utilizing my experience in reiki. Leaving my clients in a calm, meditative state for which healthier decisions can be made.
I’m a currently creating and opening a unique Esthetic School what I feel is the natural evolution of Healing Hands.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Opening a business is not for the weak in general. As for me i became very sick in 2020 and continue to be through the present moment. Although my health is increasingly better I’ve undergone now 7 major surgeries since 2021 the last just 3 weeks ago. It’s been much harder for me to grow as fast as one might have done having their health intact. However I am incredibly proud despite. With four major awards in less than four years I have so much to be proud of. With some personal struggles as well I have managed to persevere and I used all of these struggles as the driving force that keeps me going. After all I have two absolutely beautiful children watching me.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a nurturer, it’s where my soul ends and begins. Caring for another building them up and allowing them to see themselves through my eyes is what makes my heart smile .. it is my love language of sorts.
I see beautiful potential in others I thrive watching others reach that potential, it’s everything to me.
The career and life I’ve created gives me many opportunities to flourish and watch others flourish alongside me.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Grace… Along the way I learned how to give myself grace. I’d say to always remember to hold space for yourself and your emotions. To remember you are only human and incapable of perfection. You will loose people through the trajectory that genuine growth takes and this can be a tumultuous experience. However you will also receive so many blessings through new amazing people and experiences along the way as well. Trust the process and know that the universe isn’t working against you, it’s working tirelessly for you. Don’t give up dig deep and grow it’s so incredibly worth it.
