Sammie, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
My name is Sammie Denham, and I am a multi-disciplinary artist based in New York City. As a dancer, choreographer, creative director, dance instructor, and photographer, I bring over 15 years of experience to my craft. My journey in the arts has taken me across the globe, allowing me to perform, create, and teach while contributing to diverse projects across multiple industries.
Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
2024 was a turning point for me as I shifted my focus toward personal creative ventures. After completing my fourth original production for Royal Caribbean as an associate choreographer and director, I co-founded Creative Pack—a full-service production company—with two close friends and colleagues. I also launched Denham Direction and Denham Photos, two businesses that allow me to fully explore and cultivate my creative passions. This past year has been one of challenges and growth, but the incredible communities I’ve built in New York, London, and Los Angeles have empowered me to discover my true voice as both an artist and a creative.

What are you most excited about in the coming year?
I’m excited to continue expanding both my choreographic portfolio and my photography business. I’m passionate about creating and capturing art with incredible people, using both print and film to tell compelling stories.
My words for 2025 are Connection, Collaborate & Creation.
