Life & Work with Lili Lindholm of Wellington, FL

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lili Lindholm

Hi Lili, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It all started when I left Sweden at 18, stepping onto a plane bound for Los Angeles with nothing but a suitcase and a dream. I arrived in the U.S. completely on my own, without my family, and had to figure out adulthood in one of the biggest, most fast-paced cities in the world. I spent 16 years in LA, learning, growing, and navigating life as a shy Scandinavian girl in a place that constantly pushed me out of my comfort zone.

I’ve always been creative, and social media became the perfect way to express that. I started sharing my love for fashion, styling, and aesthetics on Instagram and TikTok, creating luxe-for-less looks and showing that style doesn’t have to come with a high price tag. Over time, my content expanded to daily inspiration, mindset shifts, and, more recently, my journey into motherhood as a first-time mom.

My goal has always been simple: to be a little bit of sunshine in the corner of the internet. Whether it’s a styling tip, a dose of motivation, or a relatable mom moment, I want to create a space that feels inspiring, uplifting, and genuinely helpful. Social media has been my way of connecting with others, sharing what I love, and proving that no matter where you start, you can create a life that feels beautiful and fulfilling.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Moving to a new country as a teenager was overwhelming—I was just 18, alone in Los Angeles, trying to figure out life in a place that was completely different from where I grew up. I had no family here, no safety net, and had to learn everything on my own, from navigating a new culture to managing adulthood without any guidance. I essentially grew up in LA, and while it shaped me into who I am today, it wasn’t always easy.

On top of that, I lost my dad to cancer around the same time I moved to the U.S. That loss was something I carried with me as I was trying to build a new life. There was this simultaneous journey of healing and self-discovery—I was grieving, yet also pushing myself to adapt and grow in a completely new environment. It was a lot to process at a young age, but it taught me resilience in a way I never expected.

Looking back, those struggles made me stronger. They forced me to trust myself, to become independent, and to carve out my own path. It wasn’t always easy, but every challenge helped shape me into the person I am today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have a corporate career in HR by day, but social media content creation is my creative outlet and passion. I balance both worlds—helping businesses thrive through HR strategy while also building my own personal brand through content creation and brand collaborations. I love expressing my creativity through fashion, styling, and lifestyle content, showing people how to achieve a luxe look for less, while also sharing my journey as a first-time mom.

What sets me apart is that I don’t believe you have to pick a lane. Society loves to put people into boxes—you’re either corporate or creative, a career woman or a mom. But I refuse to be or do just one thing. I do multiple things, and I do them well. I believe you can pursue multiple passions, embrace all sides of yourself, and create a life that’s uniquely yours. That’s something I want to instill in my son: you don’t have to limit yourself. You can quite literally be all the things.

I’m most proud of the community I’ve built online, where I get to share helpful, inspiring, and relatable content. Whether it’s a fashion tip, a career insight, or a mom moment, I want to show people that they can design a life that’s full, dynamic, and completely their own.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is authenticity, family, and the power of reinvention. These core values shape everything I do—both in my personal life and in the content I create.

Authenticity is at the heart of who I am. I believe in showing up as my true self, whether that’s through my social media, my work, or the way I navigate motherhood. In a world where so much is curated, I want my platforms to be a space where people feel a real connection. I share the highs and lows, the styled moments and the everyday realities, because I know that authenticity resonates far more than perfection ever could.

Family is everything to me. Coming to the U.S. alone at 18, I had to build my own foundation from scratch. Now, as a new mom, family has taken on an even deeper meaning. My journey through motherhood—learning, growing, and embracing every stage—is something I love sharing with my community. Whether it’s balancing life as a working mom, finding joy in the small moments, or simply being present, my family is my biggest inspiration.

And then, there’s reinvention. I truly believe in the ability to evolve, adapt, and create the life you want—because I’ve done it myself. From moving across the world to stepping into different phases of my life and career, I’ve always embraced change. My content reflects that too, whether it’s finding ways to elevate your style on a budget, shifting your mindset, or redefining what success looks like.

At the end of the day, my goal is to inspire others to live authentically, cherish their loved ones, and never be afraid to reinvent themselves. Through my Instagram and TikTok, I hope to be a little reminder that no matter where you start, you have the power to create something beautiful.
