Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Pagliaro
Hi Jessica, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Born and raised in sunny Miami, my journey started as an NFL cheerleader, which brought so much energy and excitement into my life. After that chapter, I found a new way to keep that spirit alive by creating content that makes people laugh, feel inspired, or just enjoy a little escape.
At first, I posted things that I thought were funny – especially my Target runs – and suddenly, people really connected with it. Now, I share a mix of my Miami life, style, and relatable moments, often with my husband, Frankie P from Y100, Building this community has been such a fun ride, and it’s amazing to work with brands that just get me and my followers. And yes, Target will always be my happy place!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road! Like anyone following their passion, there have been plenty of bumps along the way. One of the biggest challenges has been balancing the creative side of content creation with the business side – things like navigating partnerships, staying consistent, and keeping up with trends. Some days, it feels like a full-time job just managing that alone!
Another struggle has been figuring out how to stay true to myself and my voice, especially with the pressure to jump on every trend or fit a certain mold for brands. I’ve always made it a priority to keep it real, even if that means going against the grain sometimes. And then, of course, there’s everyday life – balancing relationships, taking care of my pups, and everything else that pops up. Those tougher moments have honestly made the journey real, though, and they’re what make connecting with my audience so meaningful to me.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work is all about bringing people a little joy and a laugh with content that feels real and relatable. I’m all about lifestyle – everything from fashion and beauty to travel, but my funny, relatable content is where it really hits! I think people know me best for mixing humor with real-life moments we all relate to – like heading into Target for one thing and somehow walking out with a cart full of stuff I never knew I ‘needed’ that I need to now hide from my husband!
I’m proud of the community I’ve built because it goes way beyond just followers. These are people who connect with me, my quirks, and my everyday moments. And it’s been amazing to see that connection spread beyond my page, with some of my funny reels going viral and reaching even more people. What makes me different is that I don’t try to be perfect – I just show life as it is, unfiltered and all. I want people to feel good, have a laugh, and know they’re not alone in this messy, unpredictable life.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is: consistency is everything. It can feel like you’re putting in a ton of work without seeing results right away, but showing up regularly is what builds your presence and keeps people coming back. Even on days when you don’t feel super inspired, find ways to stay connected with your audience – it really pays off in the long run.
I also wish I’d known that you don’t have to be perfect to be successful. People connect with real, not perfect. If I could go back, I’d tell myself to let go of the need for everything to be flawless and just focus on being myself. So, stay consistent, be yourself, and trust that your people will find you!
