Today we’d like to introduce you to Robin Schwartz
Hi Robin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started as a Loan Officer with Caliber Home Loans about 12 years ago. I worked with them for 8 years then they merged and I, along with my teammates, left to go to Cardinal. After a year there, I was not completely satisfied and decided to be a Mortgage Broker with Barrett Financial in January 2024. Best move ever! I have access to over 120 lenders so I can find a solution to just about any scenario. Rates are competitive. Fast closing times. Bottom line is I am able to provide the highest level of service to my clients.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Mostly it has been smooth. I would say the only struggle was when Caliber merged and we had to figure out a path from there. I ended up in the perfect spot so it all worked out.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am known for my excellent communication throughout the process, both with the borrowers and my referral partners. I answer my phone 24×7. Besides my communication excellence, what sets me apart from others is my ability to problem solve, stay on top of each step to assure each step of the process is happening in a timely manner, and give honest information and advice to my clients. I pride myself on there being no surprises along the way, closing on time [even early in most cases] and making the process smooth for all involved.
I am licensed in Florida and can do loans across the state.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Generally, I am not a big risk taker. I am, however, more apt to do so in business then any other area of my life. Moving from the retail lending environment to being a broker was what some would say was a big risk. I was confident it would work out because I had confidence in my ability to get the job done!
