Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Rezman
Andrew, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started when I began my first job as a barback and I wanted to track my progress I wanted to make videos of the cocktails that I learned. I would post everyday before work. I started to learn that I loved creating content so I began to put more effort into each video. When I started working as a bartender I filmed my story. since I am so young people started following me to become a bartender as well. They liked my story and how I worked hard to learn.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
You reach a lot of barriers that make you feel like you will stop growing. But I find you just have to keep posting until you post something that blows up. Once one thing blows up the videos you make after that will end up doing well sincee people are clicking on your page.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a bartender ar 19 years old. I work in Miami where the legal age to start bartending is 18. I find a lot of people are surprised when I say I am 19 since I cannot legally drink what I am making. I can still make good cocktails from the trials and errors of my surrounding coworkers. Although I am young that dies not mean I have less passion than my other coworkers.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I believe all good things need a little bit of luck. Social media has a lot of luck in it. Basically when posting all you are trying to accomplish is a viral post. If every video you post goes viral then you will get big fast. Yet as everyone who has tried to post knows it is pretty hard to go viral. That is why the discipline of posting everyday will increase the likelihood of a video going viral. I like to say that watching your views like a hawk will only lead to disappointment. There will be videos that you think will go great and in reality will flop. In the end that is the business of content creating.
