Today we’d like to introduce you to Diego Dias.
Diego, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started to tattoo in 2009, I always loved colors and today my favorite style is color and watercolor, which is my specialty. I’m happy for the trajectory I’ve been following in my artistic career, one goal was to win a prize as a better color tattoo at a convention in Brazil. Also, I have my work published in 3 subjects of a YouTube channel about tattoo artists and a magazine well known in Brazil. I am very grateful for everything and today, I have been recognized internationally. I had an invitation to tattoo in Germany, Colombia, Turkey and Germany but I preferred to show my art in Florida. Soon, I will be doing an art exhibition of my work.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of all the barriers, I believe that the most difficult was the prejudice I received from society, I went a long way to conquer my space and respect.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Tattoo Artist and illustrator story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a tattoo artist, I love what I do, my specialty is colored tattoos and watercolors. One of the things that made me proud was to win a prize in a first color style convention.What motivated me even more, was when I had two published pages in a magazine about my work. I love to paint. I like to listen to classical music. I believe that it inspires me more to be able to let the mind go further. A dream come true was to be able to reach the United States through my art.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I think, I see myself today, more as an artist than a tattoo artist.
