Meet Paty B

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paty B.

Paty B

Hi Paty, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your back story.
I was born in Miami and raised in Venezuela. My father is a musician and producer, and my mother, owns a music academy in Venezuela. Since I was a little kid, I have been very involved with music, singing, playing the piano, dancing ballet, acting, flamenco, and many more arts. I knew that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life from a very young age.

Always performing here and there… when I turned 16, I came to live in the States by myself to pursue my musical career. I got a wonderful scholarship at the prestigious university Berklee College of Music in Boston where I met my music producer “Kuinvi” and my mix engineer Nick Kodonas. We started making music on the floor of my bedroom and releasing songs every 2 weeks!

That caused a lot of attention from the platforms, and they started to pick up my songs, put them on important playlists, invite me to programs and events, etc. In 2022, I released my first album “GOTEO” produced by Kuinvi and it was an amazing experience, grew a lot from that as a human and as an artist. Then, in 2023 my second studio album “VEINTIDÓS” was released which is my favorite body of work so far; feel so proud about that record!! I made it in Miami at Kuinvi’s studio and poured my heart and soul into the lyrics, music, and performance. Right now, I’m releasing my first single of the year “Tonta” which is very special cause it is the first single off of my upcoming album (2024)!!!!!!!!

I’m thankful to my team, to all the digital platforms, SPOTIFY! To my family but most of all to my fans and all the people who connect with the music we make. At the end of the day, we are just vessels channeling something bigger than all of us, so it’s crazy to see people knowing the lyrics, saving the songs, and vibing to them. Feels like the purpose is completed!

Thank you for this fun interview! Xoxo.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There are always going to be obstacles, but I truly believe it depends on us to see it as a struggle or as an opportunity to expand.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe you can tell us more about your work next?
I’m a singer and songwriter. I feel everyone is special in their way. I love creating!!!!

Any big plans?
Playing live at a big festival!
