Today we’d like to introduce you to Michella Mcintosh.
Hi Michella, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I launched MimisBoutique during the pandemic in 2020. Since I have a passion for fashion, I decided to share my ideas on unique fashion pieces that are trending. I took a break at the beginning of this year, to focus on family and other personal issues. I will be relaunching in 2024.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road, the business period is a whole task with a lot of ups and downs. Having to deal with high seasons and lows all at the same time.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I sell retail women’s clothing and jewelry for plus size and all body types. My inventory is based on what’s trending at the moment, and season.
What sets me apart is my customer service to my customers, the appreciation I show, and the ways I give back to my community. Every year, I give back to less fortunate kids in Jamaica for back to school, I also do pop-up shops.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
A childhood memory I have is spending time in Jamaica every Christmas to be with family and loved ones.
