Today we’d like to introduce you to Arielle Tayar & Denise Volovitz. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Arielle started Whip Creative Studio in 2016 out of her little home office in Tel Aviv out of the personal need to bridge her love of art, her entrepreneurial spirit, and her knack for storytelling. She was joined by Denise in 2019, and the rest was history! Together we expanded Whip into a 14-person studio in Tel Aviv, taking on clients in the lifestyle sphere in Israel and beyond. We both relocated to Miami in 2022, to expand our reach and take on new challenges. We are so excited about what’s to come!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course, it hasn’t always been smooth! As any business owner can vouch for there are certain hardships that come along with the title. Growing pains as we expanded, learning how to most effectively manage teams, handling high-pressure clients, and navigating survival mode when business dips in and out. What we can say is that through it all we always strive to rise above, and ask ourselves, what is the lesson here? Learn from the mistakes, grow from the hurdles, and move on.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At Whip Creative we tell stories. We see businesses, founders, and their offerings, and dial into the essence of what that brand needs to say within the context of the world/society at large. We help businesses refine their messaging, and execute the most beautiful and effective way to get that message across through whatever mediums are necessary. We are a synthesis of well-crafted strategy, impeccable design, and some pretty amazing gut instincts.
Imposter syndrome plagues many creatives and founders alike, but one thing we can pat ourselves on the back for and say with a whole heart is that above all that we produce, our love for what we do, and our deep respect for our clients and their stories always comes through in extremely professional workflows and relationships that last years!
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
We do see it as our mission to make the world a more beautiful place. While it may sound absurd to some or meaningless to others, we are firm believers in the power of beauty, and the reverence that comes along when people are struck with it. Sometimes, being so entrenched in our industry it can feel as though we have seen and done it all as no creative can possibly be unique or shocking anymore. And we challenge that! Because as much as so much has been done, we look around and see the potential for so much more.
Today, more than ever, businesses are understanding the importance of brand affinity. Even industries that traditionally felt that they could stay out of the game are entering it. We predict that we are going into an era in which brands that don’t stand for something or aren’t able to engage or excite their customers will fall behind. That being said, we predict that the mediums by which we are consuming media will continue to evolve further, and big brands will need to engage beyond digital in order to really make an impact. Whatever will happen, we are here for it!
