Community Highlights: Meet Dr. Sarah Doyle of DrSarahDoyle.com

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Sarah Doyle.

Hi Dr. Doyle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
As a doctor of physical therapy, I initially focused my career in acute care. This means that I show up to the hospital every day, get a list of patients, review their charts, and then hit the floor to see them bedside. I had no idea that my first position at Mount Sinai Medical Center would set the pace for the rest of my career. My boss was such a nice guy that I didn’t want to say no to any requests to see specific patients. This led to me floating to every unit of the hospital and getting a comprehensive skillset and diversified experience under my belt.

Working in oncology for one year was an experience that shaped my future. I can’t explain to you how hard it was for me to see day after day the effects of poor nutrition and stressed-out lifestyle, in combination with the strongest pharmaceuticals known to man, a.k.a. chemotherapy.

I kept thinking about moving into integrative health, also known as functional medicine. The goal of functional medicine is to find the root cause of an illness and treat the patient holistically. At the hospital, people were prescribed prescription drugs to manage symptoms and then prescribed more prescriptions to treat the side effects of the other prescription drugs! The root cause of illness was rarely if ever, addressed.

Then came the pandemic. I was furloughed for almost 4 months. I knew this was my opportunity to get that functional medicine certification that I have been dreaming about for years. I got special permission to start early, ahead of my enrollment class, and I studied day and night.

I started working with my friends and family for free. As I figured it out how to really coach people, I experimented with different Telehealth platforms, patient management software, and different supplement lines, I eventually found my niche: Helping women lose weight, increase energy and increase sex drive.

OB/GYNs are ill-equipped to guide women through their Peri menopausal years and into menopause. Often times women in their 30s and 40s struggling with hormone imbalances are simply told just to take oral birth control pills. Or women are often pushed to take bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, which I think we will learn in the future the repercussions of all this biomedical hormone use.

I wanted to provide women with an all-natural option to make their transition into menopause comfortable, with no side effects. With our life expectancy nowadays, women spend half their life in menopause. We deserve to learn how to manage it naturally without being dependent on prescription medications or hormones.

My clients learn how to manage their sex hormones, stress hormones, and brain neurotransmitters using vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and herbs. Everything is done with functional medicine testing at home, online courses, and group Telehealth sessions.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Developing this program has been bumpy to say the least. For example, I had a woman referred to me who owns one of the top-notch medical aesthetician businesses in South Beach. If I performed perfectly with her, I knew it would be a gold mine of referrals. I was so new that was experimenting with a new Telehealth platform and had not aligned with a particular supplement company that met all my needs, so I was using Amazon!!! It was a total fail to the extent that I had to use FaceTime on our iPhones for the Telehealth, and I couldn’t find the same supplements month after month on Amazon, even though she had excellent clinical outcomes, the Telehealth and supplement recommendation process was too fragmented. So, embarrassing when I look back at it!

As you know, we’re big fans of DrSarahDoyle.com. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Surprisingly, I found out that almost all my clients would lose at least 10 pounds in the 90 days that they worked with me. I didn’t set out with the intention of being a weight loss coach, but it was just a byproduct of tweaking a couple eating habits, getting the right supplements for hormones, and making some lifestyle modifications to stop abusing our adrenal glands.

I want women to know that they can test their brain chemistry, as well as their sex hormones in the comfort of their own home.

I also want women to know that they can use vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and herbs to relieve their symptoms. They don’t have to depend on birth control or bioidentical hormone replacement therapy to feel better.

There are a lot of practitioners helping women with their hormones, but what makes me different than everybody else is that I also work with my client’s brain chemistry at the same time. Anxiety can be due to low progesterone, low serotonin, high glutamate, etc. I don’t know anybody else who is testing brain chemistry.

This is my favorite thing because my clients never realized the handicaps they were working with their whole life before they learned my proven system. Test your levels, take the targeted supplements, and feel better. My patients turn their lives around in just three months.

What’s next?
In 2020, I traveled to a foreign country, and I met a healer who has been working with a group of physicians and practicing a specific diet for 50 years. This diet is unknown to people in the United States. It combines quantum physics with biochemistry and circadian science. After two years of eating this way, I had to write a book about it and share it with the world. It will be available first quarter of 2023. I haven’t decided on the title yet… 7XDiet??? 7XMethod??? Decisions, decisions!!!
