Exploring Life & Business with Grace Schindler of Radiant Grace

Today we’d like to introduce you to Grace Schindler.

Hi Grace, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My interest in skincare started as a young child. I suffered from chronic eczema and became very self-conscious because of that. My skin was super sensitive, reactive and uncomfortable, causing me to seek answers for my skin condition. I started going to the library to get books on skincare when I was about 8 years old. I would research holistic ways to treat my skin. My passion for skincare grew as I got older, and my hobby and interest in skincare and products expanded. I was sought out by my friends for advice on which products to use for their particular needs. I wasn’t sure what path to take when I graduated from high school. One of my friends suggested that I look into Esthiology after she had been working at a salon & spa and thought that career path was a perfect fit for me! I didn’t even know what an Esthetician was! When I was in high school working at a mall retail job, I had saved my money to get my first facial. I remember feeling like I was floating afterwards, and I absolutely loved the experience. I toured my local beauty school and signed up for the next class right then and there. My hobby turned into an exciting career, graduating in 2007. I have continued to explore the ever-expanding world of Aesthetics since then!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would say that my career has taken on the path that it needed to on its own without my forcing. When I graduated from Aesthetics school, I pictured myself working for a dermatologist or plastic surgeon doing more medical-grade esthetics. But the Universe had other plans, and I ended up working in luxury spas for my entire career. In the beginning of my career, the struggle was getting hired with no experience. When my first boss hired me, she said, “You got to start somewhere!” I am so grateful she gave me the opportunity to start my career and learn so much. When I moved from Wisconsin to Florida, the struggle was to find a new spa where I could build clientele, but again I was moved to exactly where I needed to be. The spa I got hired at in Miami was where I met my best friend for the last 11 years and made beautiful connections with clients and coworkers there! I have learned to trust the process of life and I am always open and willing to learn and see what the next step is in front of me to take.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Radiant Grace?
After working in luxury spas for my entire aesthetics career of 15-plus years, I decided to create my own healing oasis in the heart of Miami. A place for not only nurturing outer beauty but a place for cultivating inner beauty; uniting beauty and wellness. Now I have expanded to reach more of South Florida with my new studio space in east Boca Raton, FL! I am a Reiki Master and I offer full reiki treatments or add-on mini sessions to facials. Using pharmaceutical-grade skincare made in Utah, GlymedPlus, I offer advanced facials and modalities, microchanneling for face, body, and hair regrowth, back facials, sound healing, aromatherapy, facial massage, reiki, hydrofacials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, age well treatments, and acne treatments. I also offer complimentary oracle card readings with every treatment.

I feel what sets me apart from others is my experience in this field, my experience in treating different types of skin, skincare product knowledge, my previous work experience in luxury spas, which has stayed with me to create the ultimate experience for each one of my radiant beauties to feel pampered and taken care of every time they see me.

My work goes beyond just getting a facial and skin improvements, it’s confidence boosting, nervous system resetting, and an act of self-love and self-care. I have grown by word of mouth, which is my personal favorite, and a huge compliment from my Radiant Beauties who refer me! My goal is to help you feel confident in your skin, loving yourself fully, and embracing your radiance within.

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I absolutely love boating and being on the water is one of my favorite places to be! Last summer my boyfriend and I traveled to the Exumas, Bahamas via boat from south Florida. It was an adventurous 10 days exploring the islands and being out at sea with no land in sight at times. We lived on our boat the whole trip, cooking and sleeping there. We even made a YouTube video of our travels because it was such a unique trip! I would love to do more boat trips like that in the future. You can catch me out on the water in my free time- either at the beach or the boat! Nature is my grounding space that resets me and fills my cup.
