Today we’d like to introduce you to Ben Hicks.
Ben, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, graduating with a degree in fine art with a focus on graphic design. I also had taken almost every photography class. I had to learn a lot on my own. Today I run two photography businesses, fine art and commercial.
Has it been a smooth road?
As an artist, the road is never paved. The journey of success comes with the experience of hardship.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Ben Hicks Fine Art story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a photographer producing images from Sea turtles hatching out of the sand to commercial ad campaigns for fortune 100 companies. I am most know publicly for my sea turtle images. Definitely proud to have and impact on the way people see the environment and hopefully influence them the help protect it. Not many others juggle fine art and commercial to the extent of my work.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Technology and public demand will always change.
