Daily Inspiration: Meet Anabell Villanueva

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anabell Villanueva.

Hi Anabell, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am Venezuelan, born and raised in Caracas. My origins are humble but with strong values that made me the person that I am today. My mom always taught me that having a degree and learning English will help me to succeed in life. I was determined to work in the corporate world, I always liked those fancy buildings in the commercial area of the city. I studied sociology at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, which led me to start working in the Nonprofit sector. Then when I graduated, I got my first corporate work at one of the Big 4. I developed my career there in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility and then they transferred me to Brazil to become Liaison Lead for the South America Region. I lived there for 3 and half years, in that period of time my mom passed away from cancer, at that point my life really changed. I decided to live my most authentic version of myself. I moved to Miami to start a new chapter of my life. During that period of time, I felt burnt out, I was always hustling for a better future, in survival mode, life made me stop and re-asset my purpose and connect with my intuition. I never listen to my gut. It was just when I went to an ancestral signing that I listened clearly and strongly, asking me to talk about intuition. I started to research intuition and develop in others during 2 years until I created a simple methodology called ERES from listening, recognizing, choosing, and sustaining. I learnt to make tarot readings from myself back in Brazil when I most needed answers and made important choices so I integrated the Major Arcana into my methodology to help my clients practice, validate & trust intuition. Nowadays, I promote this methodology as a way to lead yourself and manage your own energy.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When you listen to your intuition it is never an easy road but it becomes smooth because you start letting go and trusting on the universe. The intuition leads you to the unknown and expands your horizons and your own world, so of course is uncomfortable because it makes you go out of your comfort zone, for example for me making new friends in this country was huge, learning how to drive in this crazy highways, or for example practicing my English and struggling with my insecurities about my accent.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in facilitating connection with intuition for leadership purposes. According to Erika James, in her brand-new book Prepared Leaders, a good leader is the one that knows how to manage their own energy in order to manage others. This angle is completing the triple bottom line in People, Planet, and Profit to 4 P, in which Prepared Leaders is the fourth. I dedicated myself to facilitating awareness in leaders on how to manage their own energy so they can thrive in balance in the corporate world.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I created my own spaces of networking, if I noticed that I am struggling with some aspect of my life I talk about in my social media and create tribes around those subjects. For example, in 2022 I created a free group to motivate us to start new habits while listening to intuition. The problem was mainly mine because I didn’t have the will at that time to do something that I knew was the right thing to do, so I talked and 300 hundred people gathered with me for 100 days to focus on accomplishing our goals. So, my piece of advice is that we usually think that we are alone and the only thing you need to do is be vulnerable and ask for help.
