Hidden Gems: Meet Kathleen Pagan of Endlessly Elated

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kathleen Pagan.

Hi Kathleen, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey has been anything but linear. As far as I can remember my interest in the home space began at an incredibly early age. I remember being about eight years old and extremely interested in designing my own bedroom, cooking meals with my mom, and “entertaining” at every chance I could.

While carrying out the duties of my finance career, I nurtured my passions as a home cook and self-taught interior designer. I created a virtual destination via a blog by the same name, inspired by the beauty of the home. From interiors to recipes, I consistently connected with a community of home aficionados like myself.

After 37 years on earth, I finally listened to that eight-year-old little girl within me. Twelve months in development, a five-figure investment derived from my own savings, and amidst a global pandemic, I launched Endlessly Elated. My very own company focused on the home. From an interior design studio to creating home products to sharing food recipes and entertaining tips. Very, à la Martha Stewart. And as they say, the rest is history.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Smooth, is that even a thing?! Ha-ha! I’ve had my fair share of struggles. From imposter syndrome to royally messing up a project or a product design. But, I would say that my biggest mistake thus far was not listening to my own intuition as it related to pursuing my dreams and leaving a career that didn’t fufill me behind.

Not trusting my own instincts and ignoring my gut, which always proves (past and present) to be correct. It’s hard to look back and know that at times I could have chosen a different path simply because I didn’t believe in my inner compass. That if I had just listened, my life may have looked very different sooner. Although I don’t regret much I can certainly say it was a huge disserve to myself. A mistake I am very cognizant of not repeating.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Endlessly Elated?
Endlessly Elated is a design company at heart. From interior design to product design. All intentional. All inspired by the beauty of the home. In our pursuit of the home’s entirety, we also share food recipes and entertaining tips via our blog.

We offer full-service interior styling, from 1-hour virtual consultations to in-person, full project design. You can also shop our intentionally crafted home products on our website. It’s all about bringing a little taste of EE into your home.

As, we say, “Believe what you’ve heard!” We’ve been lucky enough to be featured in publications such as House Beautiful, Rue Magazine, and Hola just to name a few. Our Elated Coupes, our very first home product, have even been chosen as a top editor’s pick! At our core, our mission is to inspire people to celebrate their everyday moments and create their unique stories of home.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck, good or bad, isn’t something I necessarily subscribe to. I don’t look at it in the context of impact on either my life or my business. As mama Oprah says, “Luck is when preparation meets opportunity,” and for me that couldn’t be more true.

The universe responds when your intentionality meets your effort. It may look like “sheer luck,” but truthfully there’s always a lot of hard work, sweat, and tears. Dedication and perseverance are what get you to the finish line.
