Check Out Angelina Nicole’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelina Nicole.

Hi Angelina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I’ve always loved dressing up, putting on make-up, and just expressing myself through beauty in general. However, I never thought about making it into a career! One day, I saw an ad on Instagram looking for models and I applied with no expectations of being accepted and then I got a callback.

I went into the shoot so incredibly nervous, my legs were shaking! Looking back, I had nothing to be nervous about. Doing hair and make-up, and talking to the photographers, all made my nerves go away and when I was in front of that camera I was not myself.

My parents and boyfriend saw how much I loved it and from there on out, their support has been never-ending. Studio 1 was the first people I took photos with and they were kind enough to teach us all about composite cards, websites, scams, etc.

It was all about connections and learning my way around the modeling world from multiple sources.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not! My parents raised me with the mentality that anything is possible if you work hard enough and really focus on your dreams.

You can achieve your goals if you really push yourself even when life isn’t going your way. There was a lot of doubt at first that the industry would be very tough and might ruin my mentality or self-image.

That I might not be tall enough or my body wasn’t perfect enough, but that did not stop me from doing what I love.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a 5’0 model! Which even though the modeling industry has been progressing fast, it has given me a little bit of a challenge being different from all these tall gorgeous goddesses.

I also have begun acting and I am proud to say that I was a part of a short film called “Rumors.” The FLOW Project creates educational videos to use in the classroom and teach teenagers and young adults about sensitive health topics.

I love teaching and learning new things and these topics are so incredibly important for people (young or old) to know about their life. However, I would love to focus on modeling for editorials!

What were you like growing up?
I was the most dramatic diva queen. I was the only granddaughter on both my mom’s and dad’s side so I received lots of attention! Anything pink, princess, Barbie, you name any girly thing and I loved it.

Although, I grew up with an older brother who was into wrestling, nerf guns, dirt bikes, etc. So it was the best of both worlds! Once I started school, my dramatic side was overcome by my dedication to being the best in school.

I really enjoyed learning and took a nontraditional path and started learning through a homeschool program called FLVS. It allowed me to keep doing my studies while still being the diva I’ve always been.
