Conversations with Gabby DelPozzo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabby DelPozzo.

Hi Gabby, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always loved fashion and photography since I was a little girl!

One of my Christmas presents when I was 16 was a professional camera & I was always the one photographing every outing, birthday party, special occasion, etc. way before social media was a thing. I’ve also always been a very outgoing, extrovert.

So combining all of my passions – fashion, photography, and socializing, comes so naturally and so fun to me. I never thought I’d be in this position to make money online doing what I love. It fuels me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Something I struggled with HARD was caring what everyone thought, all the time.

Am I posting too much, am I embarrassing myself taking these pics in public, etc. Once you let go of that fear, life happens and your world changes. You become fearless and at the end of the day, people look up to you for your work, your courage, and what you’re pursuing.

I also auditioned for an NFL cheer team that took me 4 years to make. I learned SO much about myself during that journey but most important, how to be resilient. My vision was ALWAYS clear, I knew what I wanted, I knew I deserved a spot, and I knew I wasn’t going to stop working hard until I got the job.

The moral of the story is always keep going and never accept no as an answer.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Legal Recruiting Manager for a staffing agency in NYC.

I’ve always been fond of the legal space, and I’ve always loved and have been good at sales. I feel like recruiting and talent acquisition aren’t big markets in South Florida, so when I moved to NYC for a few years I was introduced to the industry and I’m extremely grateful for that.

I love my company, and my team, and I’m able to work remotely since my move back home to South FL. I feel like not a lot of people can say they absolutely love their career, life’s too short to not do what you love.

What matters most to you?
First and foremost, family, loyal friends, and God. Coming from a big Italian family, family means the world to me!

Additionally, pursuing what you love full force in all aspects of your life.

Whether it be relationships, careers, passions, hobbies, or anything. I think it’s important to wholeheartedly invest in yourself and what means the most to you.
