Today we’d like to introduce you to Matt Sweetwood.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Had a long and successful career in New Jersey building a company that was both a distributor and electronics retail superstore. Built that company from $1MM in sales to $100mm and successfully exited in 2015. Since then, I have had the opportunity to consult many company and coach several CEO to succeed. In addition, I wrote a #1 best-selling book, Leader of the Pack and have a successful speaking career.
Today I am CEO of an exciting green-tech startup, Greener Process Systems, Inc. We have an amazing device to reduce pollution from ocean going ships in harbor!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
My electronics company face numerous apocalyptic events as the photography business was first challenged by the advent of the Internet and the by digital technology. I had to reinvent that business several times to avoid our demise and ultimately find success. During that period, I also became a single dad of five you children, which I chronicle in my book, Leader of the Pack: How a single dad of five led his kids, his business and himself from disaster to success.

Greener Process Systems is a global business with headquarters in South Florida that values an inclusive culture, a professional management approach, and an unrelenting desire to improve the earth’s environment using innovation, technology, and a firm belief that humans can always do better for our planet. Our patented ship emissions capture technology SETH℠ aims to help reduce pollution in urban areas near ports improving health conditions for millions of people and reduce impact of ships emissions on the environment.
We have created what will be the first successful attempt to significantly reduce ship emissions. In fact, we are going to be install our first five systems in ports in Italy in 2022. We are very excited about SETH, excited about the immense benefits this can bring to the world in terms of air pollution reduction, and excited about our company as we may be the next big thing.

Simply said, it’s my five kids who provided me the motivation and drive to do whatever it took to not fail and find big success.
