Today we’d like to introduce you to Gian Carlo Accinelli.
Gian Carlo, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After culinary school, Vanessa Rivera and I decided to visit my brother for my niece birthday, after 14 years we still here… Just a combination of different things that make us stay. After spending almost all those years working hard and save money to make our dream wedding back in Peru. Instead of that we just decided to use that money to put our restaurant, that’s why the name of our restaurant… We are not Mr. & Mrs. Accinelli but we are sure Mr. & Mrs. Bun!
Now we have the restaurant for 2 and a half years.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Been an immigrant is always hard, especially when you don’t have green card, no English, no car, etc.
But always with a great attitude, me and Vanessa went true everything with only one thing in our minds, keep going and working hard!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Mr. & Mrs. Bun – what should we know?
We are a small sandwich place, fresh ingredients, simple recipes and a lot of love!
We make everything on the premises, no frozen food, no canned ingredients, just the best ingredients prepared to order.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
All our team deserves credit for what Mr & Mrs bun is. Just a great team running a restaurant with only one goal… make sure everyone leaves happy.
