Hi Victoria, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I arrived in Miami in 2005 with $300 bucks and a Bag full of Hope and dreams. Leaving behind a stable job at Big Pharma in Buenos Aires and the concrete jungle got seduced by the blue waters of South Beach and couldn’t leave. Barely speaking English, soon I will be learning that particular street language with the rhythms of Hip-Hop and Electronic music. Always ambitions, quickly I enter the business world and I achieve a manager position in an upscale Real State company, and then I learn that money does not indeed bring happiness. The insights that yoga had brought into my life, to learn who I am truly inside, our mission in this earth and that great feeling after class of confidence and that overwhelm vitality and health, made me submerge myself completely, quitting my job and moving to India in 2009, to study this ancient self-knowledge science deeper.
After a culture – shock, I received an incredible amount of humility, heart-opening and wisdom that I carry into my life today.
Was returning from my trip that in my prayers, I asked the Divine to guide me on the next step when I magically got offer to carry on with the oldest Yoga School of South Florida: Synergy Yoga. This has being my home since and had give me a beautiful spiritual family where we can grown and heal together.
Finding something meaningful and special that you are absolutely in love, that enhances your life and the life of others should be everyone’s goal. Money is a tool, not the goal. Allow your intuition to guide you and connect with the heart and you will always win.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing that is truly worth it is easy in life. Working for others is hard, but working for yourself is even harder. The special ingredient is always the Love and passion to give your best, specially when we are dealing with Holistic Preventive Health. Not only you need to have a lot of courage and availability you also need to “walk the talk”. The most important, when you are creating and supporting your own business, is also to take as seriously your own health and recharging time to be able to present yourself always full of light.

Synergy yoga has being open since 1997, offering all traditional Yoga Styles as well a variety of Healing arts such as Massage Therapy, Chakra Balancing, Acupuncture, Thai Massage, Tantra Sessions Reiki and all kinds of Certifications including for Yoga Teacher. Synergy promotes classical yoga using the old’s sacred scriptures as a guide, in difference of other schools where yoga becomes a Social Fun Club, ignoring sometimes the basic Ethic rules.
We love to promote community events and make it affordable to anyone. We also offer Prenatal Classes, Kids yoga and Chair Yoga as well Power yoga, Vinyasa, and Hatha and Sound Healing and Hot too!
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
You can never grown from a comfortable space. Taking risks is necessary to get you out of that comfy zone and allow you to shake and re-create yourself, almost like a snake shedding a new skin. Staying stagnated will take you nowhere. If you want to grown, you need to shake things up, including doing things you are not comfortable with. If I had let my fears rule, I will had not kept the school open so long, after commercial leases, open and closing locations, and a pandemic. Stay connect with the mission that resigns in your heart and all risks will be actually a step forward for you and your business.
