
Today we’d like to introduce you to Mari Albertine.
Hi Mari, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a 28-year-old real estate broker, who has grown my business from the ground up. I teach other young women, moms and aspiring agents how to make the most of what they bring to the table. Real estate is my passion, and social media has been the driving force behind the fast growth of my career.
I love to inspire others via social media, but also educate and inform investors about our current market and how to invest in Airbnb/short term rentals. I opened a brokerage and a property management business in the last two months, and it is already profitable and thriving.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Real estate is a very tumultuous career, so every deal comes with its trials and tribulations. I have grown my business 100% organically, and have never paid for any lead generation service like Zillow or Realtor.com. I care so much about my clients and the business that I’ve built, so when things go awry it can be a challenge to stay positive at times, however, I know that these are just stepping stones to an incredible business that I will have for life.
We’ve been impressed with Mari Juliette Real Estate and Property Management, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a real estate brokerage and property management company located in my hometown of Pompano Beach, FL. What sets me apart from others, is that my business is based around social media, and organic connections. My brokerage consists of young women who are motivated and highly knowledgeable about the South Florida market, and real estate investing. We handle clients in all price ranges from 300k-30 million+++, and treat each client with the same outstanding customer service regardless of their budget. I motivate my agents by showing them how to grow their own businesses within Mari Juliette Real Estate based on their values and what they bring to the table. For our investors, we offer a full service experience in which we help them find the perfect Airbnb property, run analysis for them to provide projected income, and manage the property for them post closing. This offers our clients peace of mind that we are with them every step of the way.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was always very friendly and ambitious growing up. I couldn’t wait until I turned 15 and was allowed to work legally. I even started my own facial business for all of my grandma’s friends when I was 11 years old. I have always had a huge interest in making and saving money. I was a very goofy kid growing up, and still am to this day. I have a sense of humor with everything that I do, because if I’m going to work my whole life I might as well make it fun. Being naturally positive has helped me tremendously in my career, which can also be portrayed as hopeful delusion, but nonetheless, it is a trait that I’ve carried with me that has been beneficial in staying in the real estate game. When I’m interviewing agents, I always pick up on whether they’d be a fun person to be around. It’s super important in a business that is based on relationships.
