Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Lorenzo.
Hi Rachel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am 23 years old and live in Pembroke Pines, Florida. I’m the owner of Refresh By Rach, my brow sanctuary where I help you achieve all your brow goals!
I went straight into Esthetician school after High school and finished up in 2018. I quickly started up my eyebrow career working at a local brow studio where I was able to work on my craft and truly fell in love with brows. Everything about it excited me!! Meeting so many people and giving my clients a confidence boost sparked a fire in me.
After a couple months, I decided to go solo and Refresh By Rach was born! It has now been almost 3 years of my business and am loving every bit of it!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think everyone’s path to their goals comes with many obstacles, but how you face and overcome them really does make or break you!
Living and working around the Miami area brings challenge due to the amount of incredible talent we have here. However, I think it’s an amazing thing because it pushes you to be the best version of yourself and encourages you to be different. Test the limits of your business and just have fun with it! I’ve learned along the road just being yourself and authentic will bring nothing but great things!

I would like to say I am a Brow Sorcerer to my clients! I specialize in Brow Shaping as well as Brow Laminations and Tinting. I offer a variety of either waxing, threading or tweezing. As well as Permanent Makeup in the works and Coming Soon!! Whatever your brow desires are, I’m here to help achieve it.
I think something that sets me apart from others is the love I have for people. Skill is one thing, and as important as that is, making your clients feel comfortable is everything. We all know how important brows are and to know people come to their appointments with me full of excitement rather than fear, makes me thrilled to know they have love and trust in my work!

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
At a very young age, I was definitely a handful! I think it was prettyyy clear to everyone that I would be in the Beauty Industry one day. Whether if I was trying to put on my mom’s makeup or watching my two older sisters getting ready to go out and thinking to myself “Wow I can’t wait to grow up and get to play with all this stuff!!” beauty always called my attention.
Growing up, I’ve always had a fire and hunger in me to set big goals at a young age. I have always wanted to work for myself and have people know me for my craft. I find it a big blessing that I’m able to achieve those goals on a daily basis while doing what I love.
