Inspiring Conversations with Trinity Anderson of Lives Depend On It. ®

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trinity Anderson.

Hi Trinity, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born into a family full of Jesus and music. My mom and dad pastor a church in St. Petersburg, FL, where I was raised with many morals that have shaped me into who I am today. I grew up singing in the church choir and from that moment, a love for music was formed. I was fortunate enough to graduate as a Vocal Performance Major at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts Program at Gibbs High School. Little did I know, I would be able to use that training as I’ve been blessed with multiple opportunities to travel the world sharing the Gospel. Through many challenging experiences, my faith in God has allowed me to overcome what was thrown my way and now I live intentionally pursuing my calling and purpose on this Earth. Since then, I have traveled as a vocalist and lead worship leader, but I’ve also launched a couple of small businesses that have made more impact in the Earth than I could have ever imagined.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Very early on in my career, I was diagnosed with a cyst on my left vocal fold that resulted in many weeks of what I would’ve considered loss as well as the road to recovery period. As primarily a vocalist, you can imagine the amount of discouragement I faced in that season. I’ve also encountered many challenges with confidence and value that I have worked quite a bit on to overcome. Also, in small business owning, there are quite of few mistakes along the way that can shatter a dream. The trick is to keep your eyes on the promise.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I own a company by the name of Lives Depend On It. ®. We currently sell retail merchandise that aims to raise awareness for every person to do what they’re created to do with an understanding that other lives are attached to it. The original phrase is “Lead Worship Like Lives Depend On It.” and it has evolved into many other phrases, such as, (pray like, teach like, dance, lead, love, live, etc.)

I am so grateful that every person who has encountered this brand (including myself) expresses that it has reshaped their awareness in their day-to-day life. It’s given so many people a reason to live and a purpose to push past the challenges.

Lives Depend On It. ® is currently only selling merchandise, but the full dream consists of so much more. We want to build a world full of compassionate people that think of others before themselves. We see outreaches and conferences in our future, all focusing on this one goal.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned thus far is to heed the voice of the Lord. I have learned not to move without His instructions and that has carried me through seasons of discouragement and uncertainty. At any time I have moved without Him, I’ve noticed immediate burn-out and lack of grace for accomplishing the tasks. Therefore, I choose to always be patient and stand firm on His promises.
