Community Highlights: Meet Nathalie Jean-Pierre of KCsOrganics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathalie Jean-Pierre.

Hi Nathalie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Since I was young, my parents always called me the medicine woman because I always wanted to care for others and came up with things to assist with treating family members and making them better. In 2012, my youngest son was diagnosed with having chronic eczema and all of the medications prescribed weren’t doing much for him. He just kept on itching, I decided to do some research on plants that would assist with curing this issue and I started to test out what I was able to get my hands on and would test it on myself.

I finally got my hands on some true unrefined Shea butter and mixed it with other organic ingredients and BAM! My feet, skin, and hands were so moisturized and soft. I started applying it on my son and it became his go-to when he felt that he had an itch. My son is now nine years old and he still loves to use it. He doesn’t have any breakouts because he uses KCsOrganics body butter and he drinks his H2O. I felt that if it works for him, then I know that this concoction can work for others. In 2019, I decided to open my online business.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I’d be lying through my teeth if I said that starting this business went by smoothly. Lots of time has to be dedicated, motivated, hard work, and most of all, having a support system. Having that is what pushed me when I felt like giving up because life just tends to happen. Support comes in all forms. You just have to be aware when it comes, such as words of encouragement, advice, prayer, a lending hand. This pandemic was the biggest struggle ever but with the support of my loyal customers, family and friends… I am and have been pushing through it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about KCsOrganics?
KCsOrganics (KC’s Organics) originated from the first letters of my children’s name. I mean, if it weren’t for them, I am not sure if I would’ve started this business. KCsOrganics is a business that takes pride in revealing what is already there, YOUR beauty. Due to the chemicals in our foods, how we eat, unnatural products we put on our skin, etc. We are not able to see the true beauty that we were born with. God has given us everything that we need on the earth, we just have to get curious, open our minds and research their properties. Believe it or not but Mother Nature has a cure for almost everything. It is up to us to find those hidden gems. I am not a doctor but I would love to share my knowledge and experience with what I know. Appreciating what Mother Nature has given us and putting it to good use is what KCsOrganics is all about. From Body butters, soaps, shampoos and many, many more.

What matters most to you? Why?
Helping others matters so much to me. I love to see people happy. I love to see a person happy in their skin, happy because of life. If I can share advice or assist someone with self-love, trust me when I tell you that this would be all the satisfaction I need in the world.
