Today we’d like to introduce you to Ke’Vyn De’Mone Grant.
Ke’Vyn De’Mone, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Though my passion for cooking started at the age of seven, Keys Kitchen Catering was conceived about a year ago upon returning to South Florida. I decided to take a leap of faith leaving my corporate job at Apple to start Keys Kitchen Catering. Through perseverance and tireless effort during this pandemic, I’ve gotten to a place of momentous growth. With the support of my community, I’ve been very busy these days with corporate bookings and small gatherings alike.
I’m grateful to be able to serve my community, I look forward to feeding at least 100 homeless this thanksgiving with money from earned profits from Keys Kitchen Catering. In the near future Keys Kitchen Catering plans on having a food truck bringing Soul Food and Sweets to a city near you.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I always knew I wanted to have my own business as it related to food. For as long as I’ve been able to work, I’ve always had my hand in the hospitality and food & beverage industry. Over the years working for different hotels and traveling to different states, I thought I was happy. The challenge I faced looked back at me in the mirror. I never believed in my craft, art, and God-given ability to create thru food. To touch the souls of others, bring them together thru food. My only regret is not believing in myself sooner. I do believe all things happen in God’s Devine time, and I’m living in my season.

Keys Kitchen Catering is known for serving Soul Food and Sweets.
We specialize in Soul Food, Meal Prep, and Baking. We’re well known for our Baked Mac&Cheese, Collard Greens and Homemade Cakes. As a company, we’re most proud of being authentic, producing cuisines that not only look appealing but taste like it came from your grandma’s kitchen.
What sets this company apart from others is my personal attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Knowing what the client wants to tastefully experience and execute it.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
One of my fondest childhood memories is waking up in the mornings at my great-great grandparent’s house to their pet birds chirping and the smell of fried red snapper grits and eggs.
