Today we’d like to introduce you to Malcolm Jennings.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Malcolm. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My story starts with a conversation with my cousin. We were arguing about sports and out of the blue he asked me, “What happened?” I said, “What do you mean?” He said, “do you remember when we were 15 I asked you what you wanted to be?” I replied, “Yes, a fireman or I would love to be an actor and make movies.” So what happened? I got caught up in life and became a career bartender. I ended up working for Hillstone Restaurant (Houston’s) For 18 years. After that conversation I decided to go to film school. There I met two gentlemen who are now my partners. Brian Lowe, Jose Rovira. We started our company called Triune Media.
Triune Media works hard at developing long-lasting relationships by catering to your video production needs like no one else in the business. We like to have our clients feel very involved in every process of production. Our business is creating clients from Miami to West Palm and beyond. Brian and I also have working scripts and will be bringing you films and documentaries in 2021.
Presently we are producing something that brings me a lot of joy. Kid Orange Tech is a childhood education company, they have a company called Techie Kids Club. Educators visit preschools and teach children coding and robotics. Peter Smith, their owner, reached out to meet with me to see if we could produce a kid technology show but make it a live interactive experience. With covid-19 closing the schools, we immediately went to work. Today I am proud to say we produce Techie Kids Club a 30 min show (childhood enrichment program) that engages children 4-8 in Coding and Robotics using S.T.E.A.M based activities and games. We engage with children live in real-time. We get to put smiles on people’s faces every day. We will also have a variety of Lessons available for streaming on Nov 1 2020 just visit @the techie kids club on instagram.
I am also glad to say that companies and individuals are starting to reach out to us more and more and I’m excited to be following my dreams. I’m really looking forward to my partner Brian Lowe finishing his book so we can adapt it to a screenplay. I am working on a film about street poets that will start shooting in April. At the end of the day, it brings me joy to make people think or feel a different range of emotions and I’m lucky to have great partners that have my same passion.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Following your dreams is not always an easy, smooth transition. Some of the struggles along the way to a life of running my own business are getting clients. Having a teenage daughter and being a single dad, there is the pressure of providing and making sure that the environment is a stable one.

The most important key to success is to care, really care. If you are not passionate about what you do and become truly invested in other people, everyone will leave the experience feeling cheated.
