Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Perazzo.
Mr. Perazzo is a local attorney with an American story to tell. He was born to hard-working immigrants who came to this country with nothing except the desire to provide a better life for themselves and their family. What they lacked in money, they made up for in hard-work and character. As a result, his parents instilled in him an extraordinary work ethic which he used to put himself through school and build his law firm. He began his career at the Miami-Dade State attorney’s office as a victim counselor. As an attorney, he has continued this pursuit by dedicating his career to helping injury victims and those less fortunate. Mr. Perazzo has negotiated millions in compensation for his clients.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Well, it hasn’t been easy, but nothing worth doing ever is! Thankfully, I’ve been blessed with my ten fingers and ten toes and I haven’t had to suffer through some of the set-backs that many of my personal injury clients have to face after an accident. Life can always be more difficult, so I believe in appreciating what I have today and not taking it for granted. I learned that lesson the hard way after losing both of my parents and I put it into practice every time I see my two young children.
All of the difficult times in the past have served to make the road ahead easier. You really do learn a lot from adversity.

We handle personal injury claims and file lawsuits throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, Orlando, and the rest of Florida. We are most proud of our attention to detail. Very often, clients will seek us out after having spoken to several other attorneys who stated there was nothing they could do and we find something they missed. Small details can mean the difference between crushing medical bills and a paid-off summer home for our clients. We are proud that we can go to bed knowing we did our best for them.
What were you like growing up?
As an only child in a family full of old people, no one really ever listened to me. When I spoke, I had to bring my “A-game” and know the topic I was discussing, or else no one would take what I had to say seriously. Trying to convince stubborn Hispanic parents of a new point of view is no easy feat but I managed to learn how to do so; that skill stayed with me and I still use it today.
I loved it when people would listen to what I had to say; as a lawyer, I get paid to talk… it’s amazing!
