Meet Prince Quire of TheJiggyPrince in Palm Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Prince Quire.

Prince, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Ever since I was younger, I knew I had an open mind. I always thought of things differently and took advantage of the best I could. By the age of 12, I basically knew why God put me in this world. To express my thoughts and inspire. My only problem was finding an effective and genuine way to do it. I grew up in a Caribbean/African household so I didn’t always relate to everything other American kids did, So I knew I was different in many ways. Some kids tried to pick on me because of it, but I later learned to stand my ground. I learned that I didn’t want to do a lot of the things everyone was doing. I started branching off into a different focus and passion. By the 10th grade, when I was living in my home state New Jersey, I found out a lot about myself. I met some really dope friends and we had similar ideas on life and our strongest bond was our tastes in music and fashion.

So I became woke to certain types of art. I gained a fashion sense and inspiration from artists I listened to Like Joey Bada$$, Travis Scott, and A$AP Rocky and other fashion models in the streetwear wave like; Blodyosiris, Ian Connor, and Darion famous. I was intrigued by their work and dedication. I also gained another fun hobby which is Dancing. My biggest dance inspiration is a famous dancer named Denzel Meechie. I started posting videos on my Instagram, Snapchat, etc. And as time went on and I got better, people started noticing and I was gaining a following. I got reposted by popular influencers and artists and it was so fun. I took a break dancing because of school and work. But my 12th-grade year I got back on the grind. I started a YouTube and began posting videos and got over 6k views on one video. But when I graduated, I took another break from dancing and a lot of housing issues went on with my family so we moved to South Florida. Here I elevated my focus. I told myself I have to take this serious and see where it takes me. I became an influencer and now I have over 53k followers on TikTok and 1.2 million likes and counting.

I now work with a Clothing brand called “WhoIsFatsoe” with the owner Donovan Brown. I express my dancing and fashion on all my social media platforms. My plan is to inspire people in so many ways. And my focus is to be positive and to enjoy life. I have a love for streetwear fashion and feel this my demonstration of art. I want to continue to grow my brand as an influencer and Street Model, so I can one day be big and reach the masses. I want people to know anything you are passionate about GO FOR IT! The wait might be long, but keep trying, make good and uplifting friends and enjoy your journey to success. I will be there soon, and I pray my support stays strong, but I don’t have have much worries I have God on my side!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My struggles was I didn’t always have much of a budget with everything I wanted to do but I always improvised. I use my phone as a camera to record videos. And I go thrifting to save money but I always find out how to style any kind of clothing. So that wasn’t a problem. I also don’t have my own place so dealing with my family at this time and doing what I want is very challenging. I try my best to balance it all, making time is the biggest issue. Being 20 years old and trying to fulfill your passion isn’t easy. Life really hits you at this age you start to understand your priorities more and you have to find ways to cope.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a street model and influencer. I specialize in making dance and funny videos and I show off my fashion to give tips and project my own style. I’m proud of how I can maneuver even with stress and setbacks. I’m grateful I can make myself happy and also make money off of my creativity. I want to show more people my art and personality and try my best to be an asset to people’s lives. I feel I am different from other influencers because I am very genuine and reasonable. Enjoy a good convo with anyone and I am a very good business partner, all work I have done in the past always go smoothly.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
The best thing that happened to me was finding out about TikTok. This app helped me to find ways to show people who I am and to give life. I networked with a lot of people and it gave me opportunities by showing my following and the impact I have given. It helped me to move forward in my career. Blowing up is the best experience when you get people to support you and anything you do.
