Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Vergara.
Nicole, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started Events by Nicky five years ago because I had a passion for planning and Floral design. I love being able to bring a couple’s vision to life. I love planning every accept of a wedding. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I’m a hopeless romantic that loves LOVE. I’m a wife to my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful boys.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a smooth road. I have been blessed to have amazing clients that trust me and my vision. I have learned a lot throughout the years and continue to learn everyday. Sometimes we can be our own obstacle in life but this career has taught me to believe in myself and what I have to offer my clients.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Events by Nicky story. Tell us more about the business.
Events by Nicky is a full-service planning & Floral design firm that specializes in weddings. I have different planning packages from Full planning to Month of coordination. Events by Nicky also provides all types of floral that you would need for your wedding. I feel what sets us apart is that we have the ability to transform your vision into a unique design that represents our couples. My goal as a planner is to make my couples feel like they have a friend throughout this journey. I want them to know that they have someone on their side. Someone that will make sure all the details are perfect and everything runs smoothly.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Right now, a lot is going on in the world and there is a lot of uncertainty especially in this industry. I believe this will all pass and we will come back bigger and better. People still want to celebrate so in five years, I hope to be planning more lavish weddings, expanding the Events by Nicky headquarters and team
