Today we’d like to introduce you to Elyse Berman.
Elyse grew up in New York City and graduated with a degree in Court and Conference Reporting. She currently resides in Boynton Beach with her husband Richard and two dogs.
Prior to her 13-year-plus Real Estate tenure, she was a court reporter in the New York City metropolitan area.
She has personally built two homes from the ground up – one in Boca Raton and one in Delray Beach – helping to supervise all phases of construction, as well as decorating and renovating other homes.
She is all too aware of the challenges facing many people moving to the Boca Raton area with their beloved pets.
There are many restricted communities that do not allow pets. An avid dog lover and owner, she is very familiar with all the communities that will accept them.

Has it been a smooth road?
No. I was in a Continuing Ed class one day back in 2009 when the instructor said, “Are you on Active Rain? You ought to be on Active Rain.” So I went and set up a profile, started blogging and never looked back.
Blogging is a full-time commitment and a labor of love. I have emailed, talked to, become friends with and met many other bloggers around the US and Canada. It opened a new world to me.
In addition, the market right now is a challenging one. Inventory is low and prices are high, though it does vary by community.
Finding communities that will take multiple pets – not always an easy task!

I love Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, having lived in all 3. The cities have really grown in the past 22 years from sleepy town to bustling areas. I love the proximity of the beaches, restaurants, art galleries, shopping, three airports to get in and out.
The new-found traffic. With all the building has come, more traffic and it’s not even season!
