Meet Diana Cadet of Queenz Kollectionz in North Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Cadet.

Diana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my business the ending of 2017 but took off a bit in 2019, the reason why I chose selling lashes is because wearing lashes, doing my makeup, hair and sprinkling a dash of sweet perfume for work, outing or just staying home to vlog on Facebook was a major part of who I am and what people typically remember me by.

I also knew that working a regular 9 to 5 was just too boring for me, I have had five retail jobs that I only gave a year and a half and I’m looking for another job to keep me interested and excited. I have picked up a lot of great details and information on how to run a business and what customers typically wants or needs when entering a retail store. So my love for business grows over the course of five to six years. I knew that I wanted to have my own business and run it with love and respect to all customers, no matter if no one supported me on my dream. So after doing some research and gathering information, I had my first site and business idea. Running a night lounge here in Wynwood, FL. It was going to be extremely different than a typical lounge, I made a website and also started getting a great review on my site. We also got so far to looking to hire and having our own uniform for our employees. But after losing some business partners that was interested at first, my dream to open a lounge was shut down. I had lost hope on running my own business and continue to work at my job in home depot. Doing my best to climb up the ladder and just turned that into my career to live a stable life. But also still looking at other business ventures and nothing stuck out to me, till one early morning working at Home Depot one of my co-workers asked me “why don’t I sell my own lashes as you always have your face beat and always complaining on how weak the drug store lashes was.” So as she was explaining about her business of doing hair and etc. I started to looking up on how to run a lash business and fell in love with the idea and ever since then, I have open my lash business, and through trial and errors, and still learning I have enjoyed every bit of my business and customers. It’s my passion and its a promise I made to God to keep my force.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth ride. People assume once you have a business, your friends and family would support you. I will be a testimonial that this statement or belief is false. You have to build trust in your customers and you have to put your business out there regardless if you have help or not. Celebrity have it easy because of there fan base numbers and who they are. But owning your own business is a full-time time plus overtime each day. The struggles I face was naming my lashes, finding people to purchase at the price you indict its worth and continue on having new and old customers to purchase from you. Also, I believe this is the important part finding your own theme for your business” lol I love the color pink so much, that my room walls, bed, computer and computer accessories are all pink and more. But every small and major business all have the same theme, so I made mine different I love the classic vintage black and white theme. So I decided to go with that with my business.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Queenz Kollectionz – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
In my business, I am the sole owner of Queenz Kollectionz aka QK Lash. I sell lashes, lash tools, for example eyelashes curlers made for 25 mm mink lash, lash glue, body shimmer, all-natural ingredients lip glosses and balms that promote healthy, soft and protect and heals your lips. I also into essential needs like mask, hand sanitizer, and gloves and much more is coming as well. I am so proud of my business on how it grows from an idea to and actually taking the step and trust into building my business and finding my brand ambassadors and now getting more customers than before. My business starts off by selling lashes and now we’re growing into other products that our customer wants and need. What sets us apart from others is looking into what the customers wanted from the bigger brand of business and not receiving that and actually taking the time out to talk and asks our followers what they think we should come out with and getting their input on things.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the future, I’m looking to become a household name and branch out to other business ventures.
