Dr. Rajpatty, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Atlantic Project Consultants Limited (APCL) is a leading provider of professional consultancy services in Trinidad and Tobago and across the Caribbean, including but not limited to Project Management Services, Engineering Design Services (Civil & Structural Design and ME&P Services Design), Architectural Design Services, Quantity Surveying Services, Valuation Surveying Services (Land and Building Valuations) AND Project Control & Financial Monitoring Services.
Our Company was first incorporated in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the year 2002. Through the efforts of our dedicated team of construction professionals, our operations quickly expanded across the Caribbean through the building of solid partnerships with industry pioneers and fellow consultants, bringing together the best of the best. Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
APCL has continued to grow from strength to strength over the years thanks to its dedicated team of employees, and our ability to adapt to changing market conditions. Trinidad and Tobago and by extension the Caribbean has however faced a tremendous economic downturn over the past couple years which has impacted the construction sector as a whole. Nevertheless, we continue to explore new opportunities and have built partnerships with various entities and eminent professionals across the Caribbean and beyond. This has enabled us to remain a formidable player in the business of construction consulting, and arguably the premier provider of such services in the region.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career was when I started my own company. I departed the post of Chief Executive Officer at a major Group of Companies in the Caribbean and sought to build my own organization. Today, I have no regrets.
