Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Harrison and Jonathan Schwartz.
Many years ago, Jonathan and Maria met while working for Interval International, a Miami-based InterActive Corp company at the time. During their tenure they, the two were partnered on many projects. Several years later, they each went their separate ways to pursue other career opportunities.
In 2009, as the greatest recession was upon us, Maria and Jon reconnected on several projects. The partnership was natural as Maria was a bonafide digital marketer, with deep-rooted ties to the local digital marketing community including being a founding member and past President of the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association; Jon was an outstanding business development executive and strategist with ties to companies across the country, and namely in NYC. Jon served in a business development role while Maria served in a marketing strategy and implementation role to help local clients realize their marketing goals while making necessary cutbacks due to the recession. Bullseye grew from a small consultancy to a full-fledged digital marketing agency organically as satisfied clients referred new business. Bullseye continues to be fueled by a strong client-base as well as sees new clients approaching the agency based on success in a variety of verticals including but not limited to travel, real estate, technology, and much more.
Bullseye has developed an impressive client roster both locally in S. Florida and in NYC. Splitting time between NYC and S. Florida, as well as having staff in the northeast has allowed Bullseye to be extremely competitive in the marketplace and bring best-in-class digital marketing services to all of their clients. Today, they’re still small enough that it feels like family and as owners, Maria and Jon have relationships with many of their accounts, but they’re big enough that they can take on even the most complex and sophisticated clients.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
When you’re a business owner, every day presents you with new challenges or depending on how you look at it, new opportunities. Everything from finding the right office space to finding the right talent and the right clients is a challenge or an opportunity.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Well, we’re learning every day so we are literally always iterating and getting better. If I had to start over, I’d structure our account teams differently from the beginning – we ultimately got to where we need to go, but it took some trial and error.
