Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany DiMarco.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Brittany. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Five years ago, I was 21 years old and living my best life in Miami. It was my best life until I learned my grandmother’s health was at risk. She lived in my hometown in Erie, PA. Being raised in a close-knit family, I decided it was time to move back home to be close to her and family. To no surprise, my family and best friend from home were excited about it. As I was trying to figure out my move home and the next chapter of my life, my best friend encouraged me to learn how to do lashes. I was hesitant at first but as I thought more about it, it was a great idea. It would allow me to start a business and be there for my grandmother.
Now motivated and determined, I finished lash training in Miami and moved back to Pennsylvania. To my initial surprise, I found instant success in PA. My business was doing great and my Grandmother was getting better. Despite the success, I wanted to move back to Miami. I figured, why not take my business to Miami. In 2018, I moved back to Miami and started over. It was tough to do but it was the best thing for me. Since moving back, I found myself again growing a successful business. So in 2020, I decided to open B Lux Lash first stand-alone studio and here we are today!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The struggle that was most unique to me was having to build two businesses in two states. I received a lot of support from friends and family in my hometown but having to build a beauty brand in such a saturated city like Miami was a new challenge for me. It was starting from ground zero because I didn’t really know anyone.
B Lux Lash – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Here at B Lux Lash we specialize in everything from luxury lash extensions, lash lifts, brow shaping, lamination, microblading all the way to facials. We want our clients to feel like family from the moment they step through our doors. Their satisfaction and happiness is our number one priority because we truly couldn’t do this without them. We strive to always stay on top of all trainings, products and trends to be able to bring everyone the best service possible.
What sets us apart is the space we have created. With B Lux Lash I was able to create a safe space for women while making them feel confident and beautiful everyday. That is something I am very grateful for and proud of.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My mother and grandmother have always been my world. So growing up surrounded by so much love made countless favorite memories. My mother operated and owned a Day Spa and a Medical Spa while I was growing up so watching her independence and ability to change lives truly inspired me to pursue my dreams within the beauty industry and much more to come.
