Today we’d like to introduce you to Alejandra De Leon.
Alejandra, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Hi There! This is Ally over here. So excited to be interview by you! Well, I started blogging about two years ago. But slowly, I started changing my Instagram. At the beginning it was all about fashion, places to go out, etc… Now, it is more about having a conscious lifestyle and traveling, being aware of the harmful things we can do to our animals and the planet. I am all about being cruelty-free, vegan, organic, and always being kind to others.
I had so many people unfollow me because I changed my lifestyle, but I didn’t care about the number. All I wanted was to be free and show my audience that we can be fashionable by wearing things from second-hand stores, using beauty products that are cruelty-free and organic, and traveling consciously. Besides having my blog. I am also a photographer and love creating!
Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road and I still struggle a little bit. Because sometimes people see you as a competition and I strongly believe there is space for everyone in this world and for everything. But once, they get to know me. They realized that I am all about helping and lifting each other. My goal is to inspire people to be a better human being. Because there is good in this world… we just need to not lose our humanity and be kind to others.
Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I create content for brands (especially conscious brands). I also do photography and copywriting. Everyone knows me as Ally De Leon. Since I decided to create my personal brand as ‘Ally De Leon’. One of the things I am most proud about is being able to inspire others or give little tips to people that are willing to change their lifestyles completely. What sets me apart from everyone else is my personality and that I am always happy and show people the real me… the real Ally.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Honestly, I love Miami! Miami es la Ciudad del sol. And it’s very diversity with different cultures, food, music. There is not one thing that I hate about Miami. Maybe, I dislike the traffic just a little bit.
