Today we’d like to introduce you to Lena Rivage Luc.
Lena, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My Name Lena Rivage Luc, Im a wife, A mother. A little bit about myself self I grew up In Miami the second oldest of three. I was one of the spoiled child at the age of 12. My mom and dad got a divorce which really hurt me very much. I later graduated from Miami Central Senior High school In 2007 and Pursued in a technical school for Billing and coding Because I believe college wasn’t for me. After technical school I got introduce to the street life I later got pregnant with My son Isaiah Straughter having him at the age 21 was very tough because I didn’t understand how I would take care of him because I love going to the club and I was into self so I didn’t see how can I raise a child up and being a parent when I’m still lost in the street over the time I was still in and out the street.
I found myself in a dark place where I didn’t know my self anymore trying to fit in with individuals not knowing my worth as a individuals because they would judge me based on my outer appearance not knowing I was hurt and broken inside I was desperate to find an escape Out So 2015. I got introduce to Christ at Embassy Church in Fort-Lauderdale under the great leadership Of Dr. Regina Martin, which later became my spiritual mother. It was still a battle for me not knowing this was my process My walk with Christ was very challenge being prejudged I felt misunderstood rejected and worthless Not knowing the pain I endure was birthing something out of me as my Christian walk continue I learned how to have self-love and not feeling like I needed self-validation from other people. Now the process I have endure has thought me how to speak to young women and adults to love their self and there’s beauty behind the pain.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, It haven’t been a smooth road, especially being misunderstood and being rejected everywhere you go. People would dislike you just for no reason because the way I look or dressed they automatically but me in a category.

I am a personal stylist I think outside of the box, I am bold and unique. I love to dress up because I believe every woman who walks in class displays self-respect appreciation and etiquette.
