Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Gutierrez Fauras.
Natasha, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always had a passion for working with my hands and In 2014 I attended the Aveda Institute in South Florida where I discovered how I can heal others using my hands. Shortly after that, I worked in different locations at a time, even transferred my license to Boston for a year. When I returned from MA I was fully Immersed in the Spa world and filled with ideas of how I’d like to add my style to this amazing industry.
I also happen to be expecting my first son at the time that I made the decision to convert the guest room in my apartment to a small little piece of what was my first attempt of having my own spa room. Word of mouth was my bread and butter for some time, but as my business grew I knew it was time for a bigger move. Now I have a cozy suite located on Miramar parkway I have been here for about two years and I couldn’t be happier! And even more excited for what’s next!
Has it been a smooth road?
Definitely challenging being a Mom of two a Wife, Daughter, etc. lots balancing that goes on the day by day. And since my business is also a baby of mine it does require some TLC, sometimes that means spending some weekends at seminars and educating my self along the way so my knowledge can continue to grow along with the business.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Skin by Nk story. Tell us more about the business.
So I am a fully licensed Esthetician but I limit myself to only Skincare services. Such as Facials, back facials, underarm facial, and now even a full body treatment.
I specialize in Skin and I think that’s what sets me apart I have only interest in learning the skin and how to show the world the best version of yourself.
I’m really proud of my clients, together we have achieved the best skin results they’ve ever had.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In 5-10 years I hope to continue to transform skin and renew confidence for everyone that I meet. And Making a solid skincare line that my clients and others can count on.
