Today we’d like to introduce you to Lawrence Hodgson.
Lawrence, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Well, everything started on my passion of sneaker collecting, which I being since 1992. Instagram came around and I fell in love with it that I started posting in my first account (lhodgson2006) at first, it was just my normal pictures from my phone, a year past by I was noticing I was getting a little momentum that I bought an average Canon camera, by then, I was meeting few sneakerheads and started to take pictures and hang out with them… which must of them are now best friends, few years pass by and I updated my camera, my lens and also new followers. Then, I figured let me go with the big boys and buy a FULL FRAME CANON (Mark 3 D5) so I knew I was going all in and dedicate my new account to the fullest and I name it KICKZSTANCE… why?! Because if you really think about it, we all standing in front of a camera showing of our stance and our dope kicks… so KICKZSTANCE anyways five years pass by and here I am! With dope pictures allot of new friends and best friends that we support each other and doing what we love much… SNEAKERS.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been ups and down especially with the algorithm you know! But hey what can you do?! I always tell people The more you put in it, the more results you get. It’s like an old train… the more coal you add, the more it will run. So, you have to stay positive and keep going forward cause in the end, it will pay off.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Kickzstance – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Well, I am a sneaker enthusiast and try to give everyone the updates and also what’s upcoming in the sneaker community which I bring it on a different perspective and give it to you raw.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Well, I am planning to start my new Apparel shirts… with some good graphics in it… and also will love to be part of any sneaker event happening in Miami which I do from time to time.
