Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron Trebbi.
Trebbi Custom Construction is a family business providing construction and/or Architecture services for residential and light commercial buildings. Due to the firm’s proximity to downtown Fort Lauderdale, they focus primarily within the City of Fort Lauderdale, and have completed significant projects as far south as Golden Beach and as far north as Lighthouse Point, focusing primarily on coastal regions of South Florida. They prefer renovations and additions as a project type and have developed techniques and processes which allow them work within the confines of existing structures with minimal impact. They do a significant portion of their work in condominiums, frequently combining two units into one and understand the intricacies of dealing with condominium associations as well as the building management. Especially with the projects they design, it is always their intention to design and construct a unified, cohesive project that looks on completion as though it had always been planned “to be this way”. They have won numerous national and local design awards for their projects. They’re always available to help with a small project, guide you toward a reliable tradesman or firm or talk to you about your next renovation. As principal of TREBBI CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION, Ron is both a Registered Architect and Licensed General Contractor. He grew up in Fort Lauderdale and returned to Fort Lauderdale after receiving a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Florida in 1988. He has been designing and building award-winning projects in the greater Fort Lauderdale area since the late 1980’s and writes about design and construction for both local and national publications, including Fine Homebuilding.
Ron and his family live, work, and play in Fort Lauderdale and are actively involved in the community at both the charitable and professional levels. Cooking, wine, and travel are high priorities on his family’s list. Ron and his wife Kathy, are avid Sporting Clay Shooters and Sailfishermen. A launch size house on Tangelo Isle has been home for Ron, Kathy, their teenage daughter, Allison and two German Shepherds for over twenty years.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Business growth always presents challenges to execution and administration. We are not immune to those challenges or those presented by adverse economic conditions.

Steady continuous growth at a manageable pace. Deeper penetration in neighborhoods where we currently work and expansion into similar neighborhoods we can service efficiently from downtown Fort Lauderdale.
