Daniela, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After 6 months of hard work at a Cleaning company, I decided to start telling friends and family that I was able to do it by my own. They helped me a lot with my first customers. Then a referral… and another one… and some online publicity…
Now I’ve been in the field for 10 years and have also employees that I personally trained and trust them, which is something very important in this kind of work.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s not a job that you can give away personal cards and they will call you. People need to be sure that you’re entering in their houses and everything is going to be ok. So the main issue is to get as many referrals you can have, which is not easy either. Even though my customers are happy with my work, it’s difficult for them to recommend friends or family. There is a lot of people doing the same job as me. And sometimes price is not good enough.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Neat Services – what should we know?
I usually do everything in the house, so the people can relax when I’m done. Dust, sweep, mop, organize, laundry, windows, kitchen, which includes inside fridge and oven, move furniture to clean underneath. After all that, I’m done with the job. It doesn’t matter how long it’ll take me, as
an excellent result is what it most satisfy me.

I’ve worked with a lot of companies to help me grow. Some were not as good as I expected, some others were ok and very few were excellent!
But I think that what really helped me more, was my consistency and hard work to make people happy.
