As a good architect, I’m always looking for perfection, during my days in Barcelona (master’s degree) I realized design is an engine for progress, it is my motive, I am always fueling this engine with new ideas and looking for a subject to do research and to innovate.
Around 2013, we were forced to leave our native country (Venezuela) due to the social and economic collapse. Looking for new horizons we found in Miami the perfect junction of cultures and lifestyles, and we decided to make it our home in order to offer our Urban Modern lifestyle.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As we do not offer mainstream products or services, we must enlighten our design lovers’ community with the values of our brand, a genuine, innovative and global company with a sustainable approach.
Please tell us about Cable Urban Modern.
Cable is the lifestyle concept space where sincere design happens, interconnecting our clients with their environment through design.
We communicate our intentions through sensory experiences, exalting the honesty of natural materials and processes with a sincere approach, with purpose and without pretentiousness. Based on the human traditions, we develop new solutions for new challenges.
Offering pieces of furniture, decorative accessories, lighting and surfaces from a curated collection from around the world. Consultancy and supply for workplaces and public spaces covering commercial offices, hospitality, educational, residential and retail environments.
We create experiences, exalting the senses through our Urban Modern lifestyle.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Tough question. If I have the opportunity to start over, I will like to live a completely different experience, maybe a fisherman with a simpler lifestyle.
