Today we’d like to introduce you to Kay Bridges.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Kay. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Born and raised in Hialeah fl, by my mother and grandmother, but with the help of step-parents along the way. I lived a complicated life growing bouncing between my almost-normal household with my mother to a disaster with my father. I have been singing since I could remember, performing since kindergarten, singing the national anthem for the city, to singing background for a Spanish duo (Fede y Tiago) on multiple Spanish networks (Telemundo, Despierta America).
As my grandmother’s health began to decline I decided to stay home and get my technical degree in radio and tv broadcasting from the Miami media school. After her passing, I dove headfirst into my music career; incorporating my own company Bridges Entertainment, to build my success. While attending school I released my first ep burning bridges, a year later I dropped building bridges on all platforms and have released multiple singles like make me feel and pacifist, plus a world of new music coming soon. I have performed at a couple of gigs around Wynwood with “Rnbae” being one of them. All with no manager, no team but my support system.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Constant family struggles, losing my grandmother, and working to fund my career.

Well, Bridges Entertainment Inc is quite new. Aside from recording my own music; I write for others as well. Bridges Entertainment also offers other services, like creative directing or content design. Being a one-man show isn’t the easiest but it definitely makes you resourceful.

So many, my family and closest friends who already make me feel successful; playing my songs regularly as if they were on the radio or on a playlist, my man who inspires a lot of my writing good or bad hehe, Ray Ali making me some of my first beats and producing the two eps I have out, all the new producers I have met within the year,Eric (turk_attack), Christ, charlie (stayhappycharlie) Bugatti joe (bugattijoe) , illusion (mixed_byillusion) and my engineer who deals with my insanity, Dave (mixedbydave2x). and so many others who push and support me like nite_X and my family at The House of dreams studio.
