Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Franco.
Alex, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
While most kids had aspirations of growing up to become astronauts, firefighters, or professional athletes I was always one who dreamt of being an entrepreneur and traveling the world. Since a very young age, I knew this is what I was destined to be – so, rather than focusing on my grades throughout school, I studied the art of people. I was fascinated by how they made decisions, why they did the things they did, and little by little and without noticing became an expert in communicating.
After high school, I managed to finesse my way into a summer term at FIU where I fell in love with consumer behavior through a major in International Business. My first year of college I started dating a cute blonde model, Nina, who introduced me to the creative industry. Shortly after, I realized that I could elevate what was then a hobby of photography and making home videos to create a profitable business. This is how SevenSeas Media was born.
My first client was my girlfriend Nina who was selling eco-friendly bikinis. I began by running her social media, creating unique content and developing strategies that translated influencer marketing into sales of bikinis. Soon after, I started getting phone calls from local businesses, barbershops, dental offices, and now one of my best clients – Bang Energy.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I believe that nothing good comes easy, yet if you are passionate about what you’re doing, it is worthwhile. So though nothing was handed to me, I had no problem being patient and trusting in God to give me what is mine. Id say the hardest part of the journey has been proving to the world that I’m not just another photographer on Instagram rather a businessman. That and of course the anxiety that comes from not knowing where the next paycheck will come from.
Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about your work?
Seven seas Media is a marketing company that specializes in Content Creation and Influencer marketing. Some of our projects include managing social media accounts, creating exciting and unique content, reaching out and working with influencers, and keeping updated with the best practices involved with digital marketing.
As a company, we are mostly proud of the content we create by making sure that we’re not posting generic stock photos. Rather we want to provide our clients with content that is unique to their brand and in tune with their identities. Something that sets us apart from other marketing companies is mainly our devotion to our customers. Through quick turnaround times, full transparency, and our commitment to become a part of their brand, we build strong relationships with our clients and always go the extra mile.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Rather than luck, I would say it’s my faith in God’s plan that has opened up all the doors needed on my journey to where I am today.
