Meet Carlos Adyan of Telemundo in Doral

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carlos Adyan.

Carlos, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My first job in the industry was as an intern in Caracol Radio. After being an intern they offered me a position as producer and eventually as talent. Simultaneously I was freelancing for Azteca and Mega TV and later on CNN en español. After converting the Olympic Games in Rio and opportunity came to be Marc Anthony’s Personal assistant I got the job but I quit three months later because I knew that my realized that my passion was TV. I started on Telemundo after quitting my job as Marc Anthony’s personal assistant and discovering a casting for traffic reporter in the morning show. I got the job and I’ve been in Telemundo for two years now, however I started as a traffic reporter but eventually I started focusing on entertainment which is my strength. I now host Acceso Total and work as a panelist for Suelta La Sopa network show.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been smooth at all especially because of my age I’m only 23 and even though it should be an advantage you have to demonstrate what you’re capable of… like people don’t trust you or don’t want to give oppportunity because of age. But I guess the main goal is to prove those people wrong.

Tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I focus most on entertainment a lot of my interview have gone viral and when that happens is when I feel proud of myself… what sets me apart from the others is my age and look. I am currently the youngest reporter on Spanish national TV and that’s what makes me different plus I prepare myself a lot to actually demonstrate that I can do it. Suelta la Sopa is the biggest challenge cause the whole cast are veterans and arguing with them on air is stuff but as long as I prepare and have good arguments things go well.

How would you describe the type of kid you were growing up?
I have always been very spontaneous and not afraid of public speaking. I hate technology video games etc. I love to help others… somethings more concern about other people than myself.
