Today we’d like to introduce you to Sophie St. Louis.
Sophie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Originally, I started on YouTube and other social media platforms such as Instagram. I started posting frequently, getting more views, and supporting other YouTubers by collaborating. When I turned 16, I simply wanted to become an influencer and a businesswoman. I wanted to prove that teens my age and possibly younger can do anything adults can do. Which is why I started a clothing line called OS Styles and it stands for “Our Society’s Styles”.
Has it been a smooth road?
Unfortunately, no. I’ve been through some obstacles that have made me want to just stop and give up on everything I’ve built and started. For instance, I gave my account away because of stress and anxiety. I stopped posting YouTube videos and gained an enormous amount of inconsistency. I procrastinated all the time and have gotten a lot of internet hate.

Currently, I am known for being a makeup artist on Instagram. I do creative looks for followers. I own a company and the designers create designs that benefit our society and promote self-awareness on our clothing. I’m proud of my level of creativity. Especially as a girl of my skin tone, there are not many makeup brands that goes to my dark shade. So seeing that, I’m able to put bright things on my skin really helped me realize that I can do anything and I shouldn’t be afraid to think outside of the box because of my skin tone.
How do you define success?
I personally feel like for me to be successful, I would need to be financially stable, have a good support system, and be able to succeed all my goals and ambitions. Once I’ve become a plus-size model, a big influencer, and improve in makeup, and owning a couple of companies, then I’ll know I’m successful and happy where I am with life.
