Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Stewart.
Tyler, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a Texas girl at heart who moved to Miami to pursue my degree. I attended the University of Miami and graduated in May 2018 with my Bachelors of Science in Biology.
Growing up, I was lucky enough to have a Mother who is an amazing interior designer and event planner, and I’ve always enjoyed helping her with events. That’s where my love for designing stemmed from. Upon graduation, I had planned on pursuing my medical degree, but something was always holding me back. That something was a love for designing events. My senior year I thought about being a planner so much that I decided to take a leap of faith, put myself out there, and started T. Camille.
There is very little that makes me feel more fulfilled than helping someone’s dreams come to reality and aiding in creating amazing memories. When you have a passion for something, that’s what you’re meant to do, so I’ve followed my dreams and here I am. I am young, vibrant and fun and eager to push the limits on what is possible.
Has it been a smooth road?
Opening your own business will always come with some challenges. My company is less than a year old so I’m still ironing out the kinks and finding what works best for me and my clients. When I started, I didn’t tell anyone except my close friend who gave me that push that I needed. I even kept it from my parents until I officially launched my website. That being said, I had just graduated from college and was by no means a millionaire. So, the first challenge was money. I put all of my savings, unbeknownst to my parents, into launching my business. That was a blind leap of faith that I was taking, and it happened to pay off.
The biggest challenge that I continue to face is my age. Being and looking so young, sometimes people don’t take me as seriously as they should. They think that because of my age, I’m less capable of doing my job and try to push my boundaries. Don’t be mistaken, I came to work and I mean business!
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the T. Camille Occasions story. Tell us more about it.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I would love to start new trends and cultivate something that no one ever thought was capable to execute. Continue to push boundaries! I want to continue to plan events, both large and small, that take people’s breath away and make long-lasting memories. What type of events those will be, only God knows.
