Today we’d like to introduce you to Audrey-Maria Cadio.
Audrey-Maria, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always been passionate about event planning, especially weddings! In my opinion, it’s most beautiful job on earth which has allowed me to express my creativity and share my multiculturalism.
I started my business in Paris, France? back in 2009, after much success I was able to open my 2nd office in London, UK. After spending 6 months exploring the United States, I decided Miami would be the perfect place to expand my business.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As you can imagine, getting out of my comfort zone was definitely a challenge. I didn’t know anyone and English wasn’t my first language. I would spend most of my days coming up with many creative ways to market and advertise Haute Couture Events by going to different type of social events, attending bridal shows, renting booths at local wedding expositions, networking with potential vendors and other planners and social media.
I was determined to prove myself, I love what I do and I wasn’t going to let anything stand in the way of making my brand known. Every profession has its challenges but when you believe in what you do, challenges are merely exciting learning experiences.
Haute Couture Events – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We provide luxury wedding and event planning services, coordination and design production for local and out-of-town brides with a wide range of destination wedding packages we have to offer.
We also provide event planning such as small and large corporate events, birthday parties, baby showers, bachelor & bachelorette parties and many more for global brands and individual clients.
We strongly believe this should be a joyous experience for the Bride and the Groom.
As an independent wedding planner, we take care of all of the time consuming and “painful” tasks that go into planning a wedding such as long hours of researching and venue negotiations.
We make planning your wedding an exciting experience that you and your partner will look back and cherish forever.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I am proud of every moment because every event is unique, when planning the perfect wedding, there are no routines. It takes a few months to make the perfect event happen, and when that day comes, it’s like the first time, every time!
We also believe attention to detail is key. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the reaction of the newlyweds and their guest as they are awed by the details of the decor and having the best night of their lives. THAT is why I love what I do and that is why all the challenges I have faced and may continue to face make it all worth it.

I am so happy to have come across this article! A friend of mine who hired Audrey as her wedding planner recommended her services for my corporate fundraising event. I instantly called her and within a week we collaborated and brainstormed the perfect fundraiser for my company. Audrey took her time to understand details that were extremely important to the event. She handled everything from the venue down to the seating chart making sure all of my top sponsors sat in their appropriate tables and making sure everyone had a great time. She recommended the DJ who was absolutely fantastic! When the venue’s catering crew mixed up my side dished for the dinner, Audrey stepped in and made sure I got what I wanted and delivered ON TIME!!! The fundraiser was a success and everyone was please with their meals, music and of course DRINKS! It was a true pleasure working with Audrey and it brings me much happiness to see Audrey on Voyage!
